Accommodation in an Arab Village
Arab Village Arab Village Another accommodation option we propose to the conference participants is to be hosted with Arab families in Ara Valley. This unique hosting experience will provide participants with an opportunity to blend for a moment with history and local culture. Throbbing with life, these villages are mostly built on ridges and mountain slopes; their houses dominate the slopes forming between them a variety of winding streets and alleys. A walk through the alleys and concealed corners of the village gives insight into locals' lives in such a way that one driving past on the nearby highway will never have. A trip around the village can tell a lot about the modest living style, the connection to the land and traditions- values that are absent in urban life. The hosts will be happy to talk with you about the history of the Arab society in the country and travel together with you in the village and its surroundings. Your hosts will be good English speakers. An integral part of being hosted in the Arab village is a taste of Arab cuisine delicacies mainly based on local food production. Breakfast meals will be served at all houses. At the same time, for those interested, there are plenty of local restaurants to choose from.
